As soon as I walked into Al Haaj Akhtar Pakwan & Restaurant, the aroma of biryani hit me harder than a cricket ball to the face. I was in food heaven, my friends. And then I saw the menu – it was more extensive than my Ammi’s grocery list.

But is Al Haaj Akhtar Pakwan & Restaurant really worth your time and money? Well, I do have the answer to that question below!

Taste: Beef Done Justice

Aray bhai bhai bhai! I knew the Beef Biryani was no ordinary biryani from the moment I took my first bite, it was one of the best in town!

The rice was bursting with flavor, each grain separate and fluffy. And every piece of beef was so tender and juicy that it practically melted in my mouth. The masala was perfectly balanced, and I felt like I was tasting every spice individually, yet they all came together beautifully. 

And the best part? A side of raita that was so cool and refreshing and perfectly complemented the warmth and spiciness of the biryani.

So, if you’re looking for love, look no further than this Beef Biryani. It will steal your heart and leave you wanting more. Bas ek baar kha ke toh dekho, phir khud hi samajh jaoge ki main kya kehna chahta hun!

Price: An Absolute Steal

Are you worried that the Beef Biryani at Al Haaj Akhtar Pakwan & Restaurant will burn a hole in your pocket? 

Don’t be. The price was more than reasonable – it was actually quite affordable considering the quantity and quality of the food I received. I could easily feed two people on one plate!

Service: A Small Bump in the Road

When we ordered, the waiter was very friendly and polite. He answered all of our questions without hesitation. 

Unfortunately, not all was well and good. We had ordered Brain Karahi, but after 15 minutes, the waiter told us they had run out of brains. We then ordered the Beef Biryani.

It took us around 30 minutes to get our order. That said, the food still came out hot and fresh, and the waiter was very apologetic about the delay. 

Ambience: Like a Marriage Hall

I was impressed by the cleanliness of Al Haaj Akhtar Pakwan & Restaurant. The tables were spotless, and the walls and floors sparkled. The restaurant had an old-school vibe but with modern touches that made it feel like I was in a marriage hall.

The air smelled like heaven, too! And the best part? They had air-conditioning! In this heat and humidity, I’m so glad they had it.

In addition, the restaurant had a safe parking area with armed guards patrolling it for extra security. This was a great touch and made us feel even more at home.

Honorable Mentions: No Worries!

Listen up, my foodie friend! I know that sometimes you need to be in the mood for biryani, even though it’s one of the most amazing dishes out there.

I was absolutely blown away by its taste; it had such a depth of flavor thanks to the juicy chicken with an additional seasoning of ginger and garlic for warmth. The tomatoes and green chilies gave it an extra zingy freshness too! It was simply mouth-wateringly good – give it a go today!
