Embracing the Allure: A Review of Alaska Restaurant

As a food enthusiast, I’ve always fancied restaurants that had a certain allure – those whispered about in hushed tones by other foodies. Alaska Restaurant is one such place. Despite hearing rave reviews from friends and family, I’d never had the pleasure of dining there myself. 

So when the opportunity finally presented itself, I jumped at the chance to experience this local dinery for myself. And so, with great anticipation, I made my way to Alaska to see whether or not it lived up to its sterling reputation. Hint: Keep reading!

Taste: My, My

As I gazed upon the picture of the Light Chili Pasta, my heart skipped a beat with anticipation. My friend had raved about it, claiming it was life-changing. I knew there was no leaving  Alaska before trying it. 

And oh, what a dish it was! When it arrived, all my sense woke up, as if snapped out of some trance.  The aroma from the pasta wafted up to my nostrils, and I couldnt help but love it! As I took my first bite, I was immediately struck by the perfect texture of the pasta – tender yet firm, holding its shape,  with a satisfying chew like a little pillow for my taste buds to rest on as the sauce stuck on to it. But it was the sauce that stole the show – a magnificent revelation!

Creamy, dreamy, and just the right amount of kick. I lost track of time as I savored every bite, letting the flavors wash over me like a wave of deliciousness. It was one of those meals where you forget everything else all your worries, responsibilities, and just took in and appreciated that moment. 

And even after the meal was over, the taste lingered in my mouth like a happy memory. My mouth waters just thinking about it, and I can’t wait to go back to Alaska for another helping. It was one of the best pasta I’ve ever had – and trust me, I’ve had a lot of pasta in my life!

Price: Not Too Shabby

It’s no secret that fine dining can be expensive, and I won’t lie – the Light Chili Pasta does come with a hefty price tag of PKR 1595. But if you’re looking for something special for a special occasion, it’s worth the price. The care and attention to detail in both the preparation and presentation of the dish make it a truly delightful experience.

Service: Not at the Top of Their Game

The service sadly, wasn’t what I expected. Despite the professional demeanor of the serving staff, the service was rather slow. It took quite a while for our food to arrive, and we kept waiting on to get our drinks refiled, multiple hours a day. 

However, I do have to give credit where its due. The staff was courteous, and they made sure to check in on us regularly. They were happy to answer all about the dishes or the recommendation with flavor profiles. 

One thing I particularly appreciated about Alaska Restaurant was the option to book a private room in the basement for parties at Alaska Restaurant. It’s always nice to have a separate space to celebrate special occasions with friends and family, especially if the food is this good! The  quality of the food, tells me that a private party in Alaska would be nothing short of amazing.

Ambience: Quite Nice

Alaska Restaurant is a visually stunning place – its beauty and sophistication were immediately apparent. The interior was tastefully decorated with modern fixtures and charmingly painted walls. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and I could feel the heart that was put into making this place special. 

I had only one complaint, the restaurant had a few steps inside, making it an area of high risk for falls. Fortunately, there were no accidents during our visit. Other than that, it was clean and well-maintained.

Honorable Mentions: Come Over to the Spicy Side

If you’re looking for a sandwich that’s a little bit spicy, a little bit tangy, and a whole lot of delicious;  then you need to try the Spicy Buffalo Sandwich. It’s the perfect option be it a quick lunch or a dinner. Be prepared to get a little messy – but that’s all part of the fun!

I don’t want to spoil the surprise for you, but let’s just say some unexpected additions were made to the sandwich, taking it to a whole new level of deliciousness. You’ll have to try it for yourself. And even if you’re not a fan of spicy food, I still think you should try it. It might just convert you to the spicy side.
