Before you start thinking that Angeethi is just another run-of-the-mill joint, let me tell you, it’s much more than that. 

Just as hearts burn and conversations light up in the warmth of a fire, so too does food get cooked over an open flame at Angeethi.

Taste: Where the Flames of Flavor Never Die!

I took one bite of the Beef Kabab Handi and was in love! The juicy beef paired perfectly with a spicy-creamy sauce that elicited immediate rapture. Wah, wah, wah! 

But it only got better when I tried the Chicken Achar Karahi Boneless – succulent chicken bathed in an outrageously tangy achar sauce so delicious, I could have guzzled it straight from its bowl. 

This is one of the best karahis in the business!

Outdoing itself yet again, my meal culminated in Malai Boti nirvana – tender pieces of chicken marinated to perfection and smothered in heavenly malai sauce. 

It made me want to hop right into the dish for a bath!

Price: Not for the Faint Hearts

Angeethi is not for everybody. As tasty as their food was, it was also expensive. Check out the prices of the dishes given below:

So beware! Going to Angeethi may be a hit on your wallet. But sometimes, when you want the best desi cuisine, it’s worth spending a few extra rupees.

Service: Valet Parking to the Rescue

Firstly, it took quite some time for us to receive our order. I was practically drooling in anticipation, but we had been waiting for ages. It was frustrating.

And then there were the servers. Don’t get me wrong, they were polite and all, but they definitely could use some customer handling-training. 

They seemed flustered and disorganized, and it took a while to get their attention whenever we needed something.

However, one thing that impressed me was the valet parking service. It was a lifesaver, especially since finding a parking spot at Tipu Sultan Road can be a nightmare.

Also, as another positive point, Angeethi is available on FoodPanda. So no more excuses, folks! What’s stopping you from Angeethi? 

Hint: Only your procrastination or a faulty Wi-Fi.

Ambience: Not the Most Spectacular, but Still Pleasant

The ambience at Angeethi is nothing too extraordinary that differentiates it from other restaurants in Karachi. It’s just your standard food joint – simple, pleasant, and well-lit.

Plus, it gets crowded during peak hours, so you might have to wait for a table or two.

Honorable Mentions: Name a Better Love Story than Popeye and Spinach

Dekho bhai, I have a weakness for Palak Paneer. 

There’s just something about it that makes my heart skip a beat. So, when I went to Angeethi, I knew I had to try their Palak Paneer.

Let me tell you; it did not disappoint! The spinach had a beautiful silky texture and tender cubes of paneer that were just the right amount of soft. 

I couldn’t help but devour every last bit of it, scooping it up with hot, freshly made rotis. It was like a match made in heaven!

Toh doston, what’s the final verdict on Angeethi? 

Well, let me put it this way – agar tumhara pait aur zubaan dono satisfy hona chahiye to Angeethi ka darwaaza zaroor khatkao!

Because in the end, khaana hi toh important hai boss!
