I remember as if it were yesterday when I got my first Apple iPhone 12. It felt like a dream, and I wanted to use it immediately. Sleek sharper design. Check the powerful features and wireless charging. Almost a year after I had purchased it, this phone was the one for me.

In this review, I’ll discuss the features and specs of this phone and my experience using it daily. So, let’s get started!

Design and Build – Has a Vintage Feel!

I was blown away by the Apple iPhone 12’s design and build when I put my hands on one. It has a premium appearance that is difficult to find in other phones thanks to the sharp edges and glossy glass finish. It’s also great that it comes in various rich colors, so I pick the one that best suits my personality.

The display, too, is stunning. It has an OLED Super Retina XDR display with 2532 x 1170 resolution that looks sharp and vibrant. I also love how the display is HDR-enabled and has Dolby Vision, allowing me to watch my favorite movies on the device with optimal viewing.

Performance – First 5-Nanometer Processor Ever Embedded

When it comes to performance, this phone packs a punch. It has an A14 Bionic processor that is incredibly fast and powerful. I love how quickly everything runs on it, from apps to games. It’s also easy to handle multitasking, making it great for heavy usage. 

I also appreciate that it has 4GB of RAM, allowing smooth transitions between apps. It has Apple 4-core graphics GPU that makes gaming on this device a breeze. 

Battery Life – Improving Day by Day

One of the improved features of the iPhone 12 is its battery life in comparison to older models. The iPhone 12 comes with a 2815 mAh battery that can handle a day’s worth of my usage, even when I’m on it for extended periods throughout the day.

I also appreciate that it comes with fast charging, so I can quickly get my phone running low on power.

Another great feature of the iPhone 12 is its MagSafe wireless charging. This feature allows me to charge my phone quickly and easily without fumbling around wires, which I appreciate. It’s also incredibly convenient, as I don’t have to constantly worry about plugging in my phone when it runs out of battery. 

Network /Wireless – Future Proof

The Apple iPhone 12 comes with 5G connectivity. Unfortunately, 5G is not operational in Pakistan. However, its 4G network is also super fast, which is great since it allows me to access the internet faster. It helps me a lot when I stream videos, download apps, and send files – all of which were done effortlessly. 

I also love how stable its network connection is. I could stay connected without interruptions, even in places with poor cellular reception.

Software – Notable Modifications

My iPhone 12 comes with the latest version of iOS 16, which is a great improvement from its predecessor. I’ve taken advantage of features like Live Text, which allows me to copy text out of videos or edit texts after sending them. 

I also love how customizable the lock screen is. I can choose from several different widgets and customize them to my liking. Plus, the new App Library makes it easier to keep my apps organized and easily accessible. 

The new iOS 16 software is amazing! The features are great and make  my usage of the iPhone so much more enjoyable.

The camera on the iPhone 12 is amazing. It has a dual-lens system that consists of a 12MP wide and 12MP ultra-wide lens, both of which can capture stunning shots. In addition, it also includes Night Mode and Deep Fusion technology, allowing me to take beautiful pictures even in low light conditions.

I’ve taken great photos on my iPhone 12, and I’ve even managed to capture some stunning panoramic shots. The colors are vivid and vibrant, and the detail is incredibly sharp. Plus, the camera has an HDR mode that allows balanced, consistent exposure in various lighting conditions.

The iPhone 12 also comes with a 12MP TrueDepth front camera, which is great for selfies. I love that this camera has portrait mode, allowing me to capture beautiful photos of myself. The facial recognition feature is also really cool and is an added security measure. 

Exclusive Features – Chipset 

The Apple A14 Bionic chipset is one of the iPhone 12’s best features. It is the fastest chip ever found in a smartphone, enabling me to do things I never thought possible with my phone. It can handle even the most intensive tasks, like gaming or graphic-heavy apps.

I’ve also been able to multitask thanks to the A14 chipset easily. I can quickly open several apps and switch between them without lag or stutter. Plus, it provides a smooth experience while streaming videos or scrolling through social media pages.
