I am a staff writer and have visited countless grocery stores numerous times; whatever I need, I know exactly where to get it from! I am a superhero - I identify value for money in any grocery list.

I am a busy working woman. I love saving time hence I am always looking for options that are more efficient and help to increase my productivity.

After a long day of work, cooking and spending hours in the kitchen are never ideal for me so I look for options that can make this process hassle-free for me.

Frozen vegetables are pre-cut and they  can be stored in a freezer for a long time and are ready to be used in minutes.

I love making sabzi curry, vegetable rice, or even adding mixed vegetables to my soups. And since it is already peeled, and chopped, it does not take a lot of time.

I have tried and tested the brands providing mixed vegetables in Pakistan to the best one to make a healthy and nutritious meal for my family.

I have also rated the following brands based on freshness, shelf life, availability, and packaging.

My Take on Mixed Vegetables Available in Pakistan

Icepac Mixed Vegetables

  • Comes in non-biodegradable poly bags

These come in three different variants. The combination is made of the following;

  1. Peas and carrots
  2. Peas, carrots, and green beans
  3. Peas, carrots, green beans, and corn

These are widely available and are inexpensive options as well. Given how many combinations it has been my favorite. These also have a long shelf life when stored right in an airtight sealed container.

Opa Mixed Vegetables

  • Comes in non-biodegradable packaging

Opa mixed vegetables come in two different variants. One combination is made with peas, potatoes, and carrots and another combination is mixed potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, and peas.

These are widely available and the two different combinations give greater room for creativity in food. These are also inexpensive so it is easy to pick every time I go grocery shopping.

Fine Life Mixed Vegetables

  • Comes in non-biodegradable packaging
  • Not widely available

These come in only one variant; the combination contains corn, peas, and carrots. It is great for adding to my soups and fried rice. These are also great side dishes when sauteed in a little bit of butter. The only downside is that these are not as widely available.

Things I Look for Before Buying My Bag of Mixed Vegetables

I always look for secure, and airtight packaging. I ensure that the package I am paying for is air-tight for freshness and flavorful results. After opening, I always store them in an airtight container to seal freshness.

It is important for me that the brand is available at my nearby local grocery store. This makes it easier to pick up a packet whenever I want to get my hands on it without spending hours looking for it.

So, finding these nearby is crucial for me at my nearby local grocery store.
