It is rare to have an especially good relationship between a father and son. I wouldn’t say it’s the worst but I have trouble breaking the ice with my dad. As soon as I realized his birthday was coming up, I had trouble picking up a gift but then I remembered that he liked the scent of fresh and spicy notes. I have always loved its woody scent and woody aromatic scents are the specialty of some of the best J. perfumes. It takes me back to the days when I was twelve years old and my dad would plan father-son camping trips. I remember collecting wood with my dad and the way it smelled when the wood burned. I remember how he would explore places with me surrounded by the earthy nature. The smell of wood takes me back to the happy days I have spent with my dad.

In depth, the opening of bergamot, heliotropine, and cumin take me to a stroll on a chilly winter night. It blends with the heart of lavender, bitter almond, jasmine, and natural cypress which makes me feel like a forest is nearby. The settling elegance of natural guaiac wood, patchouli, sandalwood, vanilla, and musk feel like taking in a deep breath and letting out a sigh of relief.

Its bottle is just like how a middle-aged man would like it to be, elegant, masculine, and sleek. It is shaded black-gray adorned with a silver cap. It looks as sophisticated as it smells. When I saw it, I immediately thought of my dad.
