Geo Shinwari is an excellent restaurant with both delicious food and wonderful service. It is a bit pricey but the meal and atmosphere are worth the cost.

What we don’t like

  • The price of food is a bit on the higher side.
  • The quantity of food is less

The restaurant is known for its traditional Pakistani cuisine. Geo Shinwari offers various dishes, from starters to main courses to desserts.

Geo Shinwari is a family-owned and operated business. The restaurant is located on the Hyderabad Motorway. Geo Shinwari offers a variety of traditional Pakistani dishes, such as Chicken Karahi, Mutton Peshawari, and Handis. The restaurant also offers a variety of non-traditional Pakistani dishes, such as pasta and Chinese.

Food: Scrumptious

The food at Geo Shinwari is excellent. Mutton Karahi was my favorite dish. The mutton was cooked to perfection and the spices were just right. The Mutton Brown Karahi was also very good. The meat was tender, and the gravy was delicious.

The Mutton Namkeen Rosh is a must-try. The flavor was unique and it was a great dish to share with friends.

Price: Worth Every Penny

Disclaimer: The prices quoted below are subject to change.

The price of food is a bit on the higher side but it is worth it given the quality of food but the quantity is less as compared to other places. We tried the following items:

  • Mutton Shinwari Karahi: Rs.2700
  • Mutton Brown Karahi: Rs.2700
  • Mutton Namkeen Rosh: Rs.2700
  • Roghni Naan: Rs.50
  • Garlic Naan: Rs.70

There were 7  people and the food was enough for us. The total bill came to Rs.9200 including taxes which is a bit expensive but again the food was worth it.

Service: Helpful And Friendly

One of the best things about Geo Shinwari restaurant is the service. The waitstaff was attentive and always ready to help with anything we needed. If you have any questions about the menu, they’re more than happy to answer them. And if you’re not sure what you want, they can make suggestions based on your preferences. They were also great at making sure our food comes out just the way we wanted it.

Ambiance: Breezy

The ambiance at Geo Shinwari is perfect for a casual night out with friends or family. The restaurant was based on an open-air concept, so you can enjoy the cool breeze while you eat.  The overall atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day.

Honorary Mention:

If you’re looking for an authentic Pakistani dining experience, be sure to try these dishes.

  • Mutton Chops
  • Afghani Tikka

These two dishes are the most recommended items on the Geo Shinwari Restaurant menu. The Mutton Chops are marinated and grilled to perfection, while the Afghani Tikka is a delectable mix of spices and flavors.

Final Verdict:

Overall, Geo Shinwari is a great restaurant that offers delicious food and impeccable service. The prices are a bit on the expensive side, but the quality of the food and the experience were worth it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a casual dining option in Karachi.
