What we don’t like

  • The restaurant is not very famous or glamorous

If you’re looking for a good meal but want to save money, Heritage Restaurant is a great option.

It’s not the most famous restaurant in Karachi for desi food, but it has its share of fans and admirers. The restaurant is very spacious and has a great ambiance. The food is good but it only competes with other restaurants in the area.

Nevertheless, it’s still relatively good. The service was outclassed, maybe due to the low crowd. Overall, my experience was perfect.

Food: No Compromise On Taste

My favorite dish, the Hunzai Kabab, was tender and juicy, with a perfect blend of spices. The flavor was rich and complex, with hints of cloves, cardamom, and black pepper. The kababs were perfectly cooked and the meat simply melted in my mouth.

The Chicken Tikka Masala was also very flavorful. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the masala gravy was rich and creamy. There were also hints of ginger, garlic, and cumin in the dressing, adding to the depth of flavor.

The Chicken Shinwari Karahi—the meat was cooked well and the spices complemented each other really well. The Karahi itself could have been a bit bigger, not the best karahi in Karachi but it provided enough to fill me up.

Price: Bang For Your Buck

Disclaimer: The prices quoted below are subject to change. The current prices are dated 11 June 2022. (As per the official FaceBook page).

I went with my family to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Our cumulative order was:

  • Shinwari Karahi (Half): PKR 945
  • Chicken Tikka: PKR 385
  • Hunzai Kabab: 795
  • Roghni Naan (6): PKR 85

The prices are very reasonable. You can get an entire meal for a family and still have leftovers. This makes it an excellent option for budget-minded foodies.

Service: Well-Organized

The employees at Heritage Restaurant gave excellent service. They were always aware of our needs and courteously answered any questions we had. The food came out promptly, and the restaurant was tidy and well-kept.

Ambiance: Not A Home Run

Gulzar E Hijri Scheme 33 Karachi is not the most famous or glamorous address but it has its charm. The restaurant is in a pleasant and peaceful neighborhood, making it the spot for a family dinner or a night out with friends.

Honorable Mentions: A Choice For Everyone

Heritage Restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat in Karachi.

Shirazi Kebab is my go-to dish – it’s marinated in green chilies, onions, and coriander, then cooked over live charcoal. The result is a flavorful, juicy kabab that’s absolutely delicious. The rice that comes with it is light and fluffy and soaks up all the flavors of the kabab. It’s a fantastic dish, and I always leave satisfied.

If you’re not in the mood for Karahi or barbecue, try the Buffalo Wings. They’re crispy and full of flavor. A continental food that has the perfect blend of spices which makes them irresistible. I always order a few extra to take home with me.

Final Verdict:

To sum it up, Heritage Restaurant is an excellent choice for budget-minded foodies looking for a great meal without breaking the bank. The food is tasty and reasonably priced, and the service is courteous, making for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The restaurant is well-kept, providing a pleasant ambiance to dine with your loved ones. Although it’s not available on foodpanda, you can still enjoy their delicious food by visiting their location. Additionally, you can save more by using Savyour for cashback on your purchases. Overall, I highly recommend Heritage Restaurant for a casual meal with family or friends
