Review of Itel A27
The body of ITEL A27 doesn't have any extra features to protect it against scratches or damage. On the other hand, the battery life is extremely long-lasting. The camera features are quite average. Meanwhile, internal memory is practically nonexistent.

What we like
- Good battery life
- Android 11 OS
- Average performance on daily use
What we don’t like
- Small screen size
- Average camera
- Low memory and storage
If you stay away from your charger a lot, ITEL A27 is the one for you.
Why?
I tested the performance, battery, display, operating system, and camera. The battery was definitely the stand-out feature!
But is the phone overall worth it? Read on if you want that question answered!
Design – No Additional Protection
ITEL A27 is not a water-resistant phone, so be careful with it around water. It also doesn’t have an IP rating or dust resistance.
Another negative point is that the phone is not very durable. I had mine for less than a year and the screen is already cracked. This was without even dropping the phone. Only imagine how quickly this phone would break if it were dropped or hit.
Performance – Not Enough Space
ITEL A27 only has 32GB of storage. That was not a lot for me. I planned on storing a lot of music, movies, or games on the phone. But there was just not enough space. This is worse than many of the competitors in the same price range.
And with only 2GB of RAM, major lag was experienced when using certain apps or playing demanding games.
It is recommended to either use cloud storage or an external hard drive to keep files on the phone.
Battery Life – Not Bad
The ITEL A27 has great battery life. I can use it for days without having to charge it. This is really helpful for me because there isn’t usually time to stop and charge the phone.
Moreover, the battery is non-removable which means that there are no worries about losing it.
Software – Quite Appealing
ITEL A27 has an exciting new feature in its Android 11 OS that I found very appealing.
Quick Share makes it easy to share files between Android devices, Chromebooks, or any devices running the Chrome Browser. And best of all, it doesn’t require an account with Google or any other service.
It is very useful for copying and sharing text messages with other people. This makes communication much easier than before.
Camera – Saved By The Additional Features
The main camera of ITEL A27 is very mediocre. It has a 5 MP, and it has an f/2.2 aperture. This means that the pictures taken with this phone are of low quality.
However, ITEL A27 has some great features that make up for it.
The Instant Collage feature takes multiple pictures and instantly turns them into a collage. The Time Lapse feature takes a picture over a period of time, and the Snapshot in Video Recording feature takes a picture while also recording a video.

Final Word
All in all, ITEL A27 is not worth it. Although the body of the phone is quite satisfactory, it doesn’t have any additional safeguards to protect the phone against damage.
Furthermore, there is next-to-no internal memory. The only saving grace is the battery but that too is let down by the below-average camera phone features.
If these specs have managed to impress you, go buy them! If not, there are other ITEL phones to choose from.
