What we don’t like

  • That it's not suitable for families with young children
  • The male-dominated gentry

Craving some Pakistani fare? If you find yourself near the M9 Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway, make a pit stop at Khyber Shinwari Restaurant. It is one of the most popular places to eat in Karachi.

You’ll be blown away by their excellent Karahi. Trust us, this is not your average restaurant – the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure your fantastic experience.

So next time you’re in the area, swing by Khyber Shinwari Restaurant for an unforgettable meal.

You won’t regret it!

Food: Pure Pakistani

Khyber Shinwari Restaurant is an excellent choice if you want to try some traditional Pakistani dishes. The Karahi here is particularly noteworthy – it’s a delicious, hearty dish that’s popular among locals and visitors alike.

If you’re a fan of Pakistani food, then you’ve probably had your fair share of Karahi dishes. When you visit Khyber Shinwari Restaurant, try the Chicken Shinwari Karahi!

The chicken was marinated in a mixture of spices and yogurt. Then, the chicken was cooked until it was juicy and tender, while the Karahi itself was nice and crispy. Truly tasteful!

If you have yet to try it, you’re missing out on one of the country’s tastiest dishes. A brilliant experience!

Plus, the delicious Garlic Naan was thick enough to soak up all the gravy. Definitely recommend.

Price: Very Reasonable

I went with a friend to have a late-night dinner and catch up. Our cumulative order was:

  • Chicken Shinwari Karahi: PKR 1400
  • Garlic Naan: PKR 60

The grand total came to be PKR 1460 which is highly economical for the quantity and quality of food we received. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for an amazing meal without burning a hole in their pocket!

Service: Excellence Guaranteed

The atmosphere is also very inviting, and the staff is always more than happy to help with anything you need. Plus, the service is always friendly and efficient, and you can be sure your food will be fresh and tasty every time.

Ambiance: Not For Anyone

The gateway of Khyber Shinwari Restaurant is designed like the Khyber Pass. This adds a Pashtun touch to the ambiance.

It is perfect for large groups. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating. And if you’re feeling extra festive, there is also a section for private parties. However, the gentry is mostly male. There are few families that visit the place.

The atmosphere at Khyber Shinwari Restaurant is upbeat and lively. You can expect to hear the sound of laughter and conversation all around you as you enjoy your meal.

Honorable Mentions: Don’t Miss Out

The Chicken Malai Tikka at Khyber Shinwari Restaurant is a must-try! The chicken is marinated in a rich, creamy sauce made with yogurt, spices, and cream. The result is a tender, juicy chicken dish that is absolutely packed with flavor. Simply fall in love with its deliciousness!

Also, do try the Chicken Bihari Boti. The chicken is marinated overnight in a unique blend of spices and then chargrilled to perfection. The result is a succulent piece of chicken that simply melts in your mouth.

Don’t forget to try the signature Roghni Naan as well – it’s the perfect accompaniment to this dish!

Final Verdict:

The restaurant has a casual atmosphere and is perfect for groups of friends. The service is friendly and efficient, and the food is always fresh and delicious. Khyber Shinwari Restaurant is a great place to eat if you’re looking for a taste of Pakistan.
