What we don’t like

Maharaja Restaurant should be your go-to place whenever you want a delicious, authentic desi food. This establishment is renowned for its tasty food and cozy ambiance.

Whether you’re craving a hearty curry or a light vegetarian dish, you’ll find something to your taste.

You can visit it in North Nazimabad Town, which makes it accessible from anywhere in Karachi, so next time you have a craving, don’t hesitate to try them!

Food: Zesty and Tangy

The Sultan Shahi Beef Kabab at Maharaja Restaurant is a must-try dish! The beef was perfectly cooked, and the spices used gave it a flavorful kick that made it irresistible. A delicious mint chutney was served with the kebabs, taking them to the next level.

Trust me; you won’t be able to stop at just one!

Maharaja Mughlai Tikka was a mouth-watering dish. It made my taste buds water! It was a chicken dish marinated in yogurt and spices and then grilled to perfection. The result was a juicy, tender, flavorful piece of chicken. Whether you order it alone or as part of a feast, Maharaja Mughlai Tikka is sure to please.

The Kalonji Naan at Maharaja was simply divine. The flatbread was soft and fluffy, and the kalonji (black caraway) spices gave it a nice, subtle flavor. It was the perfect accompaniment to the restaurant’s kebabs and tikkas. I must say, it was one of the best BBQ experiences I’ve had in Karachi – the taste was absolutely delightful!

It was a BBQ wonderland, I could eat it every day!

Price: Economical

I went with my friends to Maharaja Restaurant and there were 3 of us in total. Our cumulative order was:

  • Sultan Shahi Beef Kabab: PKR 899
  • Maharaja Mughlai Tikka: PKR 1199
  • Kalonji Naan (8): PKR 80

For 3 people, the total cost was quite reasonable considering the quantity and quality of food we ordered. The kebabs & the tikka were both cooked perfectly and were juicy. The naan was also fresh and had a nice texture.

Definitely recommend!

Service: Hospitable

The service at Maharaja is excellent. Our waiter was attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. He was polite and hospitable and even offered us some recommendations on what to order.

I definitely didn’t have any complaints!

Ambiance: Feels Like Olden Times

The ambiance at Maharaja is quite cozy and charming. You’ll be enveloped in warmth and elegance when you step inside. The restaurant’s decor is in a traditional Indian style, with bright colors and intricate details. This creates a classic yet captivating setting allowing you to take in all the rich culture. Add this to you must visit eateries list this year.

The staff is amicable and welcoming, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. Maharaja Restaurant is the perfect place for an intimate dinner with family or a night out catching up with friends. You can also order through foodpanda, plus with Savyour you can save on your orders too.

Honorable Mentions: Something For Everyone

Craving something savory? Look no further than our Mutton Dasti dish at Maharaja Restaurant. Slowly cooked, these chunks in a gravy of onions, tomatoes, and spices, the mutton chunks are guaranteed to tantalize your taste buds.

Final Verdict:

Maharaja Restaurant is a great place to enjoy a delicious, authentic Indian meal. The food is reasonably priced and the quality is excellent. The service is also top-notch, and the ambiance is cozy and charming.
