Reviewing the heart of delicious pasta: Sauces

Fresh street pasta sauce has the same rich consistency and is very close to my mother’s nostalgic pasta pot. It is tangy, spicy, and perfect to cook delicious pasta every time.

When I was really young, my mom would always make pasta sauce from scratch.  It would take her hours to cook the sauce, but it was always worth it. The sauce was so flavorful and delicious, making it the perfect complement to any pasta dish.

Now that I’m older, I still love pasta sauce, but I don’t always have the time to make it from scratch. That is why I was so excited when I found pasta sauces at my local grocery store. I had to try them all to find the perfect one for me. The one with the same nostalgic flavors as my mother’s pasta pot.

I tried and made pasta using the following pasta sauces and also rated them based on additives information, packaging options, consistency, and price value for money.

Things I look for before buying my refill of Pasta sauce

Texture, Aroma & Flavor

Perfect pasta sauce is a mixture of rich consistency, spicy and tangy flavors, and balmy aromatics. Whenever buying a sauce, I look for thick consistency with a hint of spice and tangy flavoring.

Price

The local brand offerings cost about Rs 300 to Rs 350 for 300 grams of pasta sauce whereas imported pasta sauce costs about Rs 500 for 300g of a pasta sauce bottle. Depending on my budget, I usually go for an imported pasta sauce since it comes in different flavoring options and has richer consistency than local pasta sauces.

Ease of Packaging

I ike brands that offer more than two packaging options! I shows that they are trying to be more sustainable and/or cater to a wider range of consumers. For example, I might want to buy the family size since it will last longer and be more cost-effective in the long run.

Or, I might want to buy the eco-friendly option that comes in a glass container instead of plastic. I think packaging options are something I consider when making purchasing decisions. Most pasta sauces come in a glass bottle so without worrying about damaging the environment, I can indulge in some tangy pasta goodness.
