In this review, I’ll share my experience with this device and discuss the features that make it stand out.
Design and Build – Trendy Diagonal Stripe
The Realme Narzo 30A has an effortlessly modern, minimalistic design that looks stylish and sophisticated. I never have to worry about discomfort holding the phone over prolonged use, as the plastic build is ergonomic and feels good. The back panel also features a unique ‘X’ design – giving the phone more personality than ever. The device is available in my choice of blue or silver colors.
The Realme Narzo 30A comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD, which is sharp and vibrant, despite having a lower resolution than other models in this range. Even playing games or watching videos, I found bright and vibrant colors. The viewing angles are decent, too, so I can watch videos with friends easily.
Performance – Unstoppable Gaming
Regarding performance, I was pleasantly surprised with the Realme Narzo 30A. It is powered by a 12nm octa-core Helio G85 Gaming Processor, which makes it perfect for gaming and multitasking. I could run multiple apps at once without any noticeable lag or stuttering. Thanks to the dedicated GPU, games like PUBG and Free Fire ran without any issues.
The Realme Narzo 30A has two variations – 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM. I used the 4GB RAM model, which worked like a charm. I could easily switch between apps without any delays or lags, even when multi-tasking.
Battery Life – Mega Battery
The Realme Narzo 30A packs a huge 6,000mAh battery, which is great for those who are always on the go. I could get two days of use out of it without charging it. Even with heavy gaming and streaming, the battery lasted around 10 hours, which is more than enough for a full day of use.
The phone also supports 18W fast charging, so you won’t have to wait too long for it to charge up again. With the included adapter, I could get it back up to 70% in just under an hour.
Network and Wireless – Reliably Connected
The Realme Narzo 30A supports 4G LTE networks so that you can get reliable coverage in areas with good signal strength. I was able to make calls without any dropped connections or poor reception. It also has dual-band Wi-Fi support, so I can stay connected even when away from my home router.
The Bluetooth 5.0 support was also great, allowing me to connect my headphones and other audio devices without hassle.
Software – Faster, Smoother & Simpler
The Realme Narzo 30A runs on Android 10 with the company’s Realme UI skin. The interface is clean and easy to use, so I didn’t need to spend too much time getting used to it. Adding useful features like App Cloner and Smart Sidebar makes multitasking more efficient.
The software experience was smooth and intuitive. I didn’t encounter any bugs or performance issues while using it.
Camera – Filters for any Mood
Rear Camera
The Realme Narzo 30A has a triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a 13 MP primary sensor, 2 MP depth sensor, and 5 MP macro lens. I was impressed with the quality of photos taken using this device, its colors were accurate, and images were sharp even in low light conditions. The portrait mode also works well, and the edge detection is spot on.
The 5 MP macro lens was great for taking close-up shots, allowing me to capture intricate details I would usually miss with other phones. The 2 MP depth sensor lets you take beautiful bokeh shots with smooth background blur.
Front Camera
The 8MP front camera takes decent selfies, and it also has a few features like beauty mode to enhance the images. The face unlock Feature is quick and accurate so that I can access my phone in just a few seconds.
Exclusive Feature – 6000 mAh Battery
The Realme Narzo 30A has a massive 6,000mAh battery, which I’ve never seen on a smartphone before. On a single charge, it lasted me around two days with moderate usage, and that’s impressive. Even playing games or streaming videos, the battery could keep going for over 10 hours – more than enough for a full day of use.
