Food: On Another Level
The Dhaka Chicken was oh-so-heavenly! The crispy golden chicken is fried till it’s perfect and drenched in a special Sajjad sauce. Accompanying the Dhaka Chicken was a side of onion rings and French fries.
That’s not all! The Chicken Peshawari Karahi was on another level entirely. Made with tomato, black pepper, and loads of spices, it completely encapsulated the desi culinary tradition. The karahi utensil was presented tongue-burning hot on a hot charcoal stand. Indeed it was the best Karahai experience!
Garlic Naan perfectly complemented the rest of the order. It had just the right amount of garlic flavor. The Puri Paratha was fluffy and crispy.
Price: A Little High
Disclaimer: The prices quoted below are subject to change. The current prices are dated 1 June 2022. (As per the official FaceBook page).
We went as a couple for a late-night dinner. Our cumulative order was:
- Dhaka Chicken: PKR 1675
- Chicken Peshawari Karahi (Half): PKR 1249
- Puri Paratha (2): PKR 60
- Garlic Naan (2): PKR 60
Yes, the price is exorbitantly high. But you need to understand what a prestigious location Sajjad Restaurant is! Furthermore, the quality of the food and the ambiance makes up for the price.
Service: Focal Point
Sajjad Restaurant definitely knows how to treat its customers right!
As soon as we entered, an attendant came forward to tend to our needs. I’m not usually satisfied with the quality of the service, But I have to admit that Sajjad Restaurant did impress me with the high level of service. The staff members were respectful and very polite.
Ambiance: By The Sea
Sajjad Restaurant is definitely worth it. Choose either the sea-facing side or to be seated a little distance away. The seats are wooden and highly comfortable. The lighting is excellent.
Honorable Mentions: Succulent Steaks
Not in the mood for BBQ or desi cuisine? No worries! Try the savory Sajjad’s Combo Steak. It combines both tenderloin beef and chicken breast, topped with spicy salsa and creamy herb sauce. The steak sizzles away as the rich sauces put a nice glaze over your steak.
All in all, Sajjad Restaurant is the perfect spot for a romantic date out of majority of eateries,
Other than that, you can also host family outings or business dinners there. Even if the prices are a little on the higher side, the other factors are phenomenal. The food is brilliant, the ambiance scenic, and the service satisfactory. Try using Savyour cashback deals on your food orders to save a bit extra on your romantic dinners.
