Taste: From the Butchery

After going over Saltage Steakhouse’s menu, I made my decision – the magnificent Wagyu Ribeye Steak, its marbled perfection whispered promises of an indulgent affair. As the knife made its gentle descent, the charred meat yielded with a tender surrender, unveiling a vibrant pinkish center.

Oh, the first taste – buttery richness danced upon my tongue, and the robust earthiness of the Australian Wagyu caressed my palate with a decadent grace. With each bite, the velvety tenderness danced upon my palate, a testament to the dry aging process that had bestowed upon this piece of beef its celestial quality. 

The air, infused with the essence of Himalayan Salt, tenderly caressed the meat, coaxing the natural enzymes to weave their magic, rendering the steak irresistibly tender and profoundly succulent. But it was the accompanying creamed spinach that truly captured my heart, its verdant richness balancing the robustness of the steak with subtle elegance.

Oh, how this Wagyu Ribeye Steak enraptured me, forever etching itself upon the halls of my most cherished dining memories.

However, just like with any other restaurant, not everyone will have a great time when they visit. I think it’s important to consider that maybe on that particular day, the waiter or chef might be having a bad day. Giving a second chance is important. Do not make up your mind after just one try.

For dessert, I found myself irresistibly drawn to the Bread and Butter Pudding. Oh, what a heavenly creation it was!
