In this product review, I will share my experience using this amazing device and how it has made a huge difference in my life.
Let’s get started!
Design and Display – Meet the Phantom
The Galaxy S21 Plus has a sleek design and is easy and comfortable to hold due to its ergonomically curved edges. This phone is built to last with an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, meaning I can take it anywhere without worrying about damaging it.
The front of the device features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for added protection. At the same time, the rear has a luxurious glass-metal construction. I have the device’s stunning Phantom Violet variant, which catches everyone’s eye when they see it.
The display is a 6.7-inch dynamic AMOLED 2x panel that supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, making scrolling and swiping smooth and fast. The full HD+ resolution provides good clarity and sharpness, even when watching movies or playing games.
I can also switch between 60Hz and 120Hz Refresh rates per my needs, which helps conserve battery. The display also has an Always-On-Display feature that shows off my calendar and notifications without me having to wake the device up.
Performance – One Step Ahead
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus, which contains the Exynos 2100 chipset, provides excellent performance for various activities. I have used this phone for gaming, streaming movies, making calls, and browsing the web, among other things. The processor handles all these tasks without any lags or stutters.
Mali-G78 MP14 GPU provides gamers with a smooth experience, no matter how demanding the game. I have tried some of the most graphics-heavy games like PUBG, Asphalt 9, and Call of Duty Mobile on this phone, and they all run perfectly well. The phone also has VR support which makes gaming even more enjoyable.
The 8GB of RAM allows for quick and seamless multitasking. I can easily switch between a dozen apps without lag or delay, saving me a lot of time. The device has a storage option of 256GB, so there’s plenty of space to store all my media files, documents, and other data.
Battery – Improved Version
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus is equipped with a 4800 mAh battery, which provides me with more than enough power for my daily activities. I can easily go two days on a single charge without much effort. Even when using the phone heavily for gaming or streaming movies, I get around 6-7 hours of screen time, which is more than enough.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus supports 25W fast charging, so I can quickly charge my battery to full in just over an hour. The 15W wireless charging and 4.5W reverse wireless charging make it easier for me to charge my device without any hassle or wires.
Network and Wireless – Use in a Flash
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus allows me to use two network services simultaneously. It comes with a 5G network- which is not available in Pakistan. In addition, its 4G network allows for faster data speeds and a more robust internet experience. The phone is also equipped with Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6 networks, so connecting my phone to other wireless devices is effortless.
Software – You will Fall in Love
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus runs on the latest version of Android 11 and the One UI 5.0 skin, which provides a smooth and seamless user experience. All the apps are intuitively designed and easy to use, so I can easily navigate between them with just a few taps.
The device also contains several useful features like Samsung DeX, Dual Messenger, Game Booster, and more. I have used some of these features, like the Dark Mode and Navigation Gestures, which make it easier for me to use my device with just one hand and conserve battery life.
Camera – Directors View
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus comes with a triple-camera setup at the rear consisting of a 12MP primary camera (wide), 12MP ultrawide lens, and 64 MP telephoto lens. I have used this phone to take pictures both day and night and can say that it produces excellent results in both conditions.
The vibrant colors and details are sharp, and the dynamic range is impressive. The low-light capabilities are also quite solid, producing good-quality images even in darker environments. The device has several camera modes like Pro Mode, Night Mode, Food Mode, Hyperlapse, and many more. I have used these modes to capture some stunning shots with great results.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus has a 10MP selfie camera at the front, which is also quite capable. The images are crisp and clear, with accurate colors and good dynamic range. I have also used it to take some impressive selfies, even in low-light conditions.
The device also comes with AR emojis and Live Focus mode for videos, adding extra fun to taking selfies.
Exclusive Features – Night Mode
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus has an exclusive low-light mode that allows me to take stunning photos even in dimly lit environments. This night mode feature works perfectly, providing me with great images even when the light is very poor. The details are sharp, the colors are accurate, and I get a beautiful shot every time.
