After wearing this watch, I went in for outdoor activities, and it performed brilliantly even in direct sunlight. Its display brightens up to 1,000 units, so that you can track activity on the screen without any problems.

The Galaxy Watch 5 offers up to 50 hours of battery life on a single charge. It only takes about 60 minutes to recharge the watch, so I can quickly get back out and do what I need to do. In addition, Samsung has included an adaptive power-saving mode that will adjust how the watch uses its battery and extend its life even further.

When I enabled the Always-On Display (AOD) and SpO2 monitoring feature, the battery life dropped slightly to around 30 hours. Still, it was a worthwhile trade-off for what is offered by these features. I needed to switch off the AOD mode to extend the battery’s life even further.
