Packs A Punch: Review of Shaheen Shinwari

Shaheen Shinwari is a great place to hang out with friends and family. The food is excellent, with sizable portions. The price too is reasonable. However, it can be uncomfortable to sit due to the noise.

What we don’t like

  • Honking and commotion from cars passing by.

If you’re looking for a delicious Karahi in Karachi, Shaheen Shinwari should be your go-to spot!

The first time I stepped into Shaheen Shinwari, I was immediately entranced. I had heard so much about this place and was finally getting to try it out. It was good. The second I walked in, it felt like I had been transported to another world of eat entirely. Not only was the decor stunning, but the food itself tasted incredible. Each dish was full of flavor that exploded in my mouth with every bite.

Trust us; your taste buds will thank you for ordering anything and everything on the menu. From mouthwatering kebabs to flavorful karahi, there’s something for everyone at this fantastic restaurant.

Food: No Heat, No Eat

Chicken Shinwari Karahi is a must-try. The chicken was marinated very well and had a wonderfully strong flavor. I ordered the karahi, and it arrived sizzling hot. The meat was perfectly cooked and juicy and went well with the fresh, fiery green peppers.

The Chicken Malai Boti is also another dish that is worth trying. The chicken was very tender and the flavors were well-balanced.

Garlic Naan perfectly complemented the curry –  it was everything you wanted it to be – crispy, hot, and with the perfect amount of garlic flavor. The Puri Paratha, too, was fluffy and had a slight sweetness.

Overall, all of the dishes were incredibly delicious and definitely worth it!

Price: Best For All

Disclaimer: The prices quoted below are subject to change.

We went in a group of 3 to Shaheen Shinwari at Rashid Minhas Road. Our cumulative order was:

  • Chicken Shinwari Karahi: PKR 900
  • Chicken Malai Boti: PKR 800
  • Garlic Naan: PKR 70
  • Puri Paratha: PKR 100

The price is good because it is highly reasonable. The average middle-class individual can afford the restaurant. Making it an excellent option for those who want to enjoy a good meal without spending too much money.

Furthermore, the portion size is very generous, more than what other restaurants offer at the same price. That alone should make you excited.

Service: Care is Their Middle Name

In addition to the outstanding cuisine, Shaheen Shinwari also offers excellent customer service. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and they go out of their way to make sure you’re happy with your meal. We can’t say enough good things about this restaurant – it truly is a gem!

Ambiance: Traffic Smoke!

Shaheen Shinwari has an outer door seating area, making it perfect for enjoying the weather while eating delicious Pakistani food. The restaurant serves food on takhts, which is a traditional way of doing food in Pakistan.

This creates a really authentic and enjoyable experience for customers. Shaheen Shinwari is the perfect place to go if you want to taste traditional Pakistani cuisine.

Find Shaheen Shinwari on the always-congested Rashid Minhas Road. Though it does have an outdoor seating arrangement, it could be a more delightful experience without all the honking and commotion from cars passing by.

Honorable Mentions: When All Else Fails, Pulao Works

If you’re excited about something exciting, try Afghani Kabuli Pulao.

The Kabuli Pulao is light and fluffy, with a perfect rice ratio to meat. The meat itself is tender and flavourful. It’s a very hearty and filling dish. The rice is perfectly cooked, and the chicken and carrots are all very flavorful. It’s an excellent choice for a winter meal.

The Kabuli Pulao has great value for the price.

Final Verdict:

In conclusion, Shaheen Shinwari is an exceptional Pakistani restaurant that offers delicious and authentic food, accompanied by fantastic service. It provides a unique experience that is hard to beat. However, if you’re looking for a traditional option at your doorstep, you can try Royal Taj and avail their Foodpanda delivery option or use Savyour for cashback. But visiting Shaheen Shinwari is highly recommended for a complete experience that goes beyond just the food.
