As the Beef Tenderloin Steak arrived at my table, I was struck by the sheer beauty of it. The glistening brown crust on the outside was a testament to the chef’s skill. There were sear marks on the meat, teasing me without mercy. I cut into the steak, and the knife glided effortlessly through the meat, leaking juice lusciously. It had just the right amount of pink in the center.

With a deep breath, I took my first bite and was like, WOW! All I could do was close my eyes and savor the taste. The meat was so incredibly tender that I barely needed to chew, and it was rich and buttery that melted in my mouth. The Mexican spices added a delightful kick, giving the dish a subtle heat.

But it wasn’t just the steak that made this dish a masterpiece; it was also the side of mashed potatoes – creamy, buttery, and oh-so-decadent. Each bite was like a fluffy cloud of potato heaven. As I finished the last bite, I felt a sense of contentment wash over me. It was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had – CFU knows how to do beef justice.

It’s true that the prices at Steak by CFU can be quite high. The Beef Tenderloin Steak costs between PKR 3000 – PKR 4000, exclusive of GST. This can be a bit of a shock for those used to paying between PKR 1000 – PKR 1400 for steak at other Continental restaurants or steakhouses in the city. However, it’s important to keep in mind that Steak by CFU is truly the king of steakhouses in Karachi, the OG.

The quality of their meats is top-notch, and the experience of dining there is truly unparalleled. So while the prices may be higher than you’re used to, the value that you receive for that money is well worth it.

The interior has been kept simple and minimalistic, with clean white walls, dark wooden floors, and modern furniture. The lighting is warm and cozy – perfect for a romantic dinner or an intimate gathering.
