What we don’t like

  • High prices

Attention, Casanovas of Cuisine! Are you familiar with the renowned Suzie Wong at Marriott Hotel?

Now, I know what you’re thinking. Who is Suzie Wong? Is she some kind of kung-fu master or a martial arts movie star?

Well, let me tell you, Suzie Wong is not just a person. It’s an experience. A restaurant in Karachi that’s so mesmerizing that it will have you begging for more.

But why is it so highly regarded? Well, let’s find out, shall we?

Pull up a chair and grab your chopsticks because we’re about to embark on a culinary journey that promises to be nothing short of…wait for it…wong-derful!

Taste: Plate-Lickin’ Good

I started with the Prawn Tempura – those jumbo prawns were huge! I was blown away by the size of them! And that tempura sauce? It was like an explosion of umami goodness in my mouth. It was the perfect appetizer to kick off the meal.

Next, I tried the Hot & Sour Soup. It was so hot and sour that my taste buds danced a little! I had to be careful not to burn my tongue on that bad boy! Still, I couldn’t help but slurp up every last drop.

For the main course, I went for the Szechuan Chicken and Egg-Fried Rice. The chicken was so spicy and flavorful, and the sauce had just the right amount of heat to give it a kick. Meanwhile, the rice was like a fluffy, golden pillow of goodness!

And for dessert, I had the French Praline Ice Cream, their house specialty. It was so smooth and creamy, with a perfect balance of sweet and nutty flavors. I felt like I was in a Parisian café!

Price: Not for the Faint of Wallet

Now, the only downside to Suzie Wong is that it is costly. So, if you’re looking for something cheaper, this might not be the place for you.

But don’t let that dissuade you too much! After all, the high price is understandable – this is a five-star restaurant in The Marriott Hotel. You’re paying for quality, and you get what you pay for.

Plus, the food alone is worth every penny!

Service: Cut Above the Rest

The customer service here is second to none. The waiters and waitresses are attentive and polite, always eager to help. They’ll even offer suggestions if you need help deciding what to order! Plus, the chefs will come out to take your order and make any adjustments to suit your tastes.

And there’s a live fresh food cooking counter serving some fantastic dishes for you to sample. It’s usually quite busy, but it’s definitely worth the wait!

Ambience: Mandarin in Marriott

This restaurant will transport you to the streets of Hong Kong with its stunning decor and ambiance. As you step inside, you’ll feel transported to a bustling Chinese market with lanterns, red umbrellas, and colorful graffiti adorning the walls.

The attention to detail in the design of Suzie Wong is awe-inspiring, and every element of the restaurant creates an immersive and exciting dining experience.

Oh, and the live singing! It’s the cherry on top!

Honorable Mentions: Nothing Brings People Together Like Good Food

You know what they say, “you can never have too much of a good thing,” and Suzie Wong’s buffet options are no exception!

Yes, my friend, you heard it right – Suzie Wong offers ala carte and buffet options. And let me tell you, if you opt for the buffet, you’ll have access to not only the main courses and sidelines but also the dessert window! That’s right; you can satisfy your sweet tooth all in one place.

Now, some people might say that the buffet doesn’t have ample variety, but let me tell you, the dishes they do have are top-notch! Plus, with the dessert trolley right there, you won’t even have time to think about the other dishes!

Personally, I’m a massive fan of Suzie Wong’s buffets, especially for lunch and dinner.

Final Verdict

In short, Suzie Wong is like love – expensive, thrilling, and unforgettable. So, Suzie Wong is the answer if you’re a foodie looking for a wong-derful time!
