I tested the phone for its performance, battery, display, operating system, and camera. All in all, it’s a pretty sweet phone in every regard.

Design – Bonus Feature

Pleasantly surprised after purchasing Tecno Pop 5 LTE. Tecno mobiles are famous for their sleek and stylish body design. However, they are not known as the most durable phones in the market. This is understandable, given the budget that Tecno phones usually fall under.

This is where I was caught off-guard.

As an added bonus, Tecno Pop 5 LTE is a waterproof phone that features an IPX2 rating. Splash protection is also present, making this phone ideal for use in the rain or around water. 

Performance – Adequate

The phone is adequate for my daily needs. Tecno Pop 5 LTE can handle basic tasks like making calls, sending messages, and browsing the internet. However, it cannot handle heavy loads such as gaming or multitasking. I did experience some lag when using certain apps and games.

So, it’s not top-of-the-line in this regard. 

Battery Life – Top-Up in no Time

Tecno Pop 5 LTE has a huge 5000 mAh battery life that keeps going all day long. With such a long-lasting battery, I don’t have to worry about my phone running out of juice in the middle of the day.

As a positive point, Tecno Pop 5 LTE comes equipped with a fast-charging option. This enables the user to top-up the device in no time at all.  Trust me, Tecno Pop 5 LTE is a game-changer. 

Software – Interesting New Features

Enjoyed the new Focus Mode in Android 11. It is specially made for people who are prone to distraction while working. Using Focus Mode can curtail distractions by pausing the app that is causing a commotion.

This phone also has a HiOS 7.6. It is a pretty neat custom UI for Android. It’s more user-friendly and customizable than stock Android, and it also has some cool features like split-screen multitasking.

The only downside to this phone is that it does not have the latest Android 12 OS. Nevertheless, this phone is still a great choice for anyone looking for a new smartphone. 

Camera – Perfect for its Budget

Tecno Pop 5 LTE has a camera that can take beautiful pictures and videos. It has a lot of features that can help me with my photography.

The dual camera system ensures the best possible picture quality. Meanwhile, the LED flash is a powerful feature that makes sure that great pictures can be taken even in low light conditions.

The selfie camera is also great, with a 5 MP single camera. It’s perfect for taking selfies.

Final Word

Tecno Pop 5 LTE has a great camera that can record all your best moments all day long. This is ensured by the massive 5000 mAh battery that keeps the device full of juice. 

That’s not all! 

The Android 11 OS has an entire truckload of interesting features that help improve the user experience by making it more friendly and easy to use.

In conclusion, Tecno Pop 5 LTE is a solid phone in most regards and a definite recommendation from my side.
