Review Of Vivo Y15s
The Vivo Y15s is a great phone for its price. It has long-lasting battery life, suitable software, and a sleek design. Its performance and camera aren't as good as more expensive phones, but it's still a great choice for budget-minded users.

The Vivo Y15s is a great pick for those who want to save money.
I tested the phone for its performance, battery, display, networking, operating system, and camera.
My findings indicate that Vivo Y15s delivers a lot of bang for your buck. Why do I say this?
Read on to find out!
Design: Decent But Delicate
For me, Vivo Y15s is a good phone with a light weight of 179 g and a 6.51-inch display. It has a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
The display of the Vivo Y15s is bright and vibrant. The colors are accurately reproduced, and the viewing angles are good. The brightness level is satisfactory, and the phone is easily visible in direct sunlight.
The design of the Vivo Y15s is good, but it lacks any gorilla glass protection. The build quality is decent, with a glass front, plastic back, and plastic frame.
Performance: Heats Up
The Vivo Y15s offers decent performance for everyday use. It is powered by the MediaTek MT6765 Helio P35 chipset.
The 4GB of RAM is disappointing. The 64GB of internal storage is on the low side, but it can be expanded via the dedicated microSD card slot.
As far as gaming performance goes, the PowerVR GE8320 GPU is not suitable for advanced games. However, casual games should run without any issues.
The phone does tend to heat up when being used for extended periods, but this is to be expected with any budget smartphone.
Battery Life: Brilliant In Every Regard
As per my use, Vivo Y15s has excellent battery life. It is a Li-Po 5000 mAh, non-removable battery that can last up to two days on a single charge. The charging time is also very fast, as it only takes about two hours to fully charge the device.
Additionally, the 5W reverse charging feature is a brilliant plus point, as it allows you to use the device to charge other devices.
Network/ Wireless: No Complaints
I had no complaints about the networking of Vivo Y15s. The phone is compatible with GSM, HSPA, and LTE networks. It has 4G bands and can reach speeds of up to HSPA 42.2/5.76 Mbps, LTE.
The WLAN on the phone is Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, and hotspot, and it also has Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, and LE.
Software: Supports Itself
I am pretty satisfied with the software system of Vivo Y15s. It comes with Android 11 (Go edition) and Funtouch 11.1, which makes it very user-friendly. The latest Android 11 OS supports the Funtouch custom UI, which is very handy.
Camera: Nothing Too Impressive
I found the camera performance of the Vivo Y15s to be average. The main camera is decent for basic photography but doesn’t offer anything too impressive in terms of features or image quality. It is a dual 13 MP, f/2.2, 27mm (wide), AF 2 MP, f/2.4 (depth) with LED flash and panorama.
The selfie camera is fine, with enough resolution for basic social media use but nothing outstanding. The selfie camera is a single 8 MP, f/2.0. Videos can be recorded in 1080p at 30fps.
If you’re looking for a phone with excellent camera performance, the Vivo Y15s is not the best option.

However, its performance and camera are not quite up to flagship standards, making it better suited for essential use.
