Best Of The Best: Review Of Waqar Biryani
Waqar’s Biryani is mouth-watering and reasonably priced, though the service and ambiance leave something to be desired. Their biryani is popular for a reason. Just be warned that you may have to wait a while before your meal arrives.

- The waitstaff could be more efficient.
Waqar Biryani is a popular spot in Karachi for biryani lovers. Their secret recipe makes their biryani stand out from the rest. People come from all over to try a taste of their unique biryani.
The restaurant is known for its mouth-watering biryani, which is made with long-grain basmati rice, chicken, and a variety of spices. Waqar Biryani offers only rice dishes such as biryani and pulao.
Waqar Biryani House And Pakwan Center are located in Block 4 A Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. The restaurant’s small biryani is their specialty and it definitely lives up to the hype.
Biryani: Taste Depends on your Luck
After seeing all the rave reviews online, I decided to try Waqar’s Biryani and was not disappointed. The biryani was delicious and perfectly cooked. The chicken was tender, and the spices were just right. I heard the taste sometimes vary.
Price: Not Expensive
The price of their biryani is very reasonable, especially considering the quantity of the food. A single plate was enough to fill me up and cost me Rs. 200. This is fairly priced.
Service: Dissatisfied
I came to the restaurant at 7 pm on Sunday evening, only to find out that they had run out of Beef Biryani. We ended up having to wait for 20 minutes for our Deg. The place wasn’t too crowded, but the waitstaff was pretty slow in service. We needed water urgently during our meal and asked the waiter multiple times, but he focused more on taking care of the receipt first.
Ambiance: Casual
The restaurant is small and cramped, with limited seating. It can get pretty noisy, especially when the deg is cooking in the back. The place could have a more inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
Waqar Biryani Catering:
Waqar Biryani House and Pakwan Centre also provide catering services for small and large events. I contacted them to cater my son’s birthday party, and they did a great job. Their food was delicious, and it arrived on time. I recommend their catering services if you’re looking for a hassle-free option for your next event.
Final Verdict:
Despite the less-than-ideal service and atmosphere, the Biryani at Waqar Biryani is definitely worth trying. I recommend coming here with a group of friends so you can try out their different dishes. The biryani is their specialty, and it definitely lives up to the hype. So if you’re looking for a delicious and affordable meal in Karachi, Waqar Biryani is the place to go. Just be prepared to wait a little while for your food.
