YBC Restaurant is a beloved spot for its Matka Biryani, but the outstanding service receives just as many shout-outs. The menu features Afghan and Arabian cuisine alongside Chinese dishes and fast food options like chicken burgers, beef burgers, and seafood selections. They’re open multiple buffets every day from 12 pm to 3 pm. And if you have an event coming up, they offer packages that come with gorgeous arrangements and an exquisite menu to make your big day even more memorable.
If you’re ever in the area, be sure to stop by and try their Matka Biryani!
YBC Matka Biryani: Tasteful
I visited YBC restaurant with my family and I was pretty excited to try their Matka Biryani. After waiting 45 minutes for our Biryani, we finally got our hands on it. Obviously, the biryani was served in a Matka(Claypot) which was really interesting. The taste was really good, it wasn’t too spicy and had the perfect amount of masala in it. The rice was cooked perfectly and the chicken pieces were also tender. However, I was disappointed with the serving size. They said that it would be enough for 4 people but it wasn’t, we were 3 and we finished it all.
Overall, the taste was really good but they need to work on their servings.
The Matka Chicken Biryani cost us Rs 1200, which is reasonable considering that it can easily feed four people. But when we got our serving, It was only enough for three people. The taste was good, though I would have liked a bit more spice. but the serving size needed to be more.
Overall, this dish is good value for your money.
Service: Late Serving
The service at YBC was good. The waiters were professional and polite. However, they need to work on their speed. We had to wait for about 45 minutes for our Biryani, which is a bit too long.
Ambiance: Reflecting Culture
YBC is a restaurant that exudes Sindhi culture and tradition. From the moment you walk in, you’re enveloped in the lovely carpet and Takht seating, both indoor and outdoor. It’s the perfect spot for family dining, with plenty of delicious food to enjoy. The ambiance was pleasant and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind after a long day.
Honorary Mention: Try Something Yummy
If you’re ever in the mood for some truly delicious Pakistani food, then you should try their cheese karahi, it is one of the best dishes liked by many people. Cheese karahi is made with chunks of cheese and vegetables in a flavorful gravy. This karahi is best enjoyed with Naan and raita.
I would definitely recommend the cheese karahi at YBC restaurant.
If you’re looking for a good Matka Biryani, then YBC is the place for you. They have a wide range of traditional dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. The ambiance is pleasant and the service is good, The Matka Chicken Biryani’s serving size could be larger.
If you’re looking for a lovely place to have dinner with your family and savor delicious food without breaking the bank, this is it.
